About Our Business
S & S began in the early 70's when two brothers with a love of cars came
together to build their dream. Ron and Jerry Starcher grew up with a
father in the auto business and they soon realized at an early age that
this too, is where their heart belonged. In their early days, the boys could
be seen around town in their supped up Chevelles, El Caminos and
Novas. They became well known for their custom work on old muscle
cars, radical paint jobs and outrageous trucks. Ron and Jerry quickly
began taking on a number of jobs and worked on everything from
insurance jobs to restorations and custom paint and body work. From
early on, it was important to them to begin giving back to the community
and they especially enjoyed sponsoring local race car drivers and have
enjoyed attending race events and car shows all over the U.S.
S & S employs two Auto Technicians, and stays up to date with on the job
training and certifications. Our staff of Auto Techs have all undergone
Spies Hecker and ASE Certification along with rigorous on the job
training. Training at our center is ongoing and crucial to our business.
Our staff has been with us for many years and all uphold the strict
standards set forth by S & S. We are a family owned business with
multiple family members working for the shop. Our history of proven
success is in many thanks to our loyal clientele, whom have been with us
for many years.
